Promoting the Truth

Craig has always believed that honesty is the best policy. Craig has in the past donated more than a $50 million to independent newsrooms, journalism schools and nonpartisan truth-tellers focused on protecting our country.

In 2018 the City of New York’s journalism school was renamed the Craig Newmark School of Journalism following Craig’s $20 million gift to the graduate program.
